Yes — the full reader is free: all voices, highlights, notes, vocabulary, the journal, and on-device AI. Premium adds cross-device sync, larger imports, audiobook export, customization, and deeper synthesis. New users get a 15-day free trial of Premium.
In the app: Settings → Premium → Restore Purchases. To cancel or change billing: device Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions.
What you read, highlight, and note stays on your device. Only generic document text-processing is sent to a server, without your identity. See the Privacy Policy.
High-quality on-device voices and the language model download once on first use, then run fully offline. This can be a few hundred MB — use Wi-Fi.
